Outside pharmacy policy:
Due to an exponential increase in the demand for outside pharmacy prescription approvals, we have instituted the following policy to ensure that:
1. Our patients receive the medications they need in a timely manner,
2. Ensure that they receive the appropriate medication from a reputable source, and
3. Allow our staff to also focus on our number one priority - our patients that are present at the clinic needing our care.
Beginning July 17th, 2023, we will only directly approve prescription requests through Chewy (see link below). Chewy has partnered with us to provide a single platform to streamline the approval process so that prescriptions can be approved in a timely and accurate manner. Chewy prescription requests will be reviewed twice weekly (Tuesday and Friday), which will ensure all requests are reviewed within three days of the request appearing on the platform. All other online pharmacy requests will not be approved directly to the pharmacy - you will need to contact us to request a written prescription so that we can ensure the prescription is accurate and correct. Depending on demand and doctor schedules, it may take up to one week to provide a written prescription.
As always, prescriptions requested through our in house pharmacy will be filled within two business days unless there is an issue/concern with the prescription.
